The progress of the project was disappointing. Our big plan ended up falling through and it fell through so late that there was no chance to find a new speaker. I'm still glad that we got to make this website and help others in our school. From here I want to continue spreading the word about the danger of drugs and help others stay away from drugs. Through this entire project I have learned that drugs are a huge problem among teens and ruin lives forever.

Throughout this first semester we have had some progress. We created a video and a website to raise awareness of the effects of drugs, which was our main goal from the beginning. There has also been some things we don't know will get done. We have contacted a person that has dealt and recovered from drugs and knows the effects of them, we asked him to come to our class and give a presentation about the effects of drugs. When we asked him he said yes, but we haven't been able to get in contact with him for a while now. Even through this struggle we have learned tons of new information throughout this project. I hope to keep increasing the awareness of drugs.
Through this semester I feel like our project has gone pretty well. We have created a website and a video to help raise awareness about drugs, which was our goal the whole time. We also have had some struggles too. We have had some struggle with getting a person to come in and talk about drugs and we are kind of at an in pass currently. However, from this project I have learned so many new things about our topic, like the real harms of drugs. In the future I hope that our project will expand and continue to raise awareness to people about the harms of drugs.
Hi duds and dudets, we have not added anything since our last blogs. I wasn't at school last week because my family and I went to Rhode Island to do some treatment for my dad's arm. We hope to add more information to some of the pages on this website, and to also promote our website more.
What's good homies, just doing not drugs here. Lately things are coming to a full and we need to add some energy back into our project. We are still planning out what we are going to do with Mr. Wilson. We are deciding between doing it just in our class or trying the whole school. We are really excited to have him come in and think it will have a great impact on our teens.
Over the last week or so, we haven't made a lot of progress with our project. Last week was grandparents day and we couldn't really get a lot of stuff done. We continued to work on our website and post some more information. Today and the weeks to come, we plan to finish our website and get everything done. We also plan on setting a date for Mr. Wilson to come in and talk about his experience with drugs. We plan on making flyers for the event and that is all we have in store for our project so for.
Hello there fellow non-drug users. Just a quick update on whats been happening on this website: We have added a video to the home page (made by Jamey, Tanner, and yours truly), and we have set up a Facebook page called Drugs Aren't Dope. If you would like to visit our page go to Facebook and type in @drugsarentdope, and be sure to give the page a like. We will soon be posting overdose ratings on the Effects of Drugs page on this website, so be sure to go check that out.
Well guys and girls it been great keeping you updated, byyyyeeee. Just a quick update for all you loyal followers. We are in the process of coordinating a speaker to come into school and tell the class his story. We also have made a video that shows the consequences of drugs and that teens do hard drugs not just grownups. We will continue to keep you updated.
Our project has been going pretty well for last couple weeks. We continued to work on this website and got a little more done on it. We also made a video about drugs that will hopefully raise awareness on the subject. We hope to take that video that we made and put it on this website. We hope to keep working hard and progress further on this project. We posted about our website, so if you want you can follow our Facebook page. Thank you, this is Jamey signing off.
Whats up peeps, its your boy Corey from Northern Michigan and I just wanna tell you guys that drugs are not a thing to mess with. Drugs can demolish your social and spiritual life, and it can destroy your physical appearance. So my friends and I are doing a 20 time project that will hopefully affect our community in a way that will stop teens from using illegal drugs. We will have some speakers come and talk about there experience with drugs and how it affected there lives. Also peeps, please don't fall into peer pressure, just because your friends or people you know are doing drugs doesn't mean you have to.
